We don’t build our homes; we build your home. Once we have a thorough understanding of your vision and household needs, our expert architect and elite designer will work together to create a step-by-step design plan tailored to you, drawing your set of floor plans from scratch.
When you are satisfied with your custom plan, we aim to secure the best pricing from our extensive network of suppliers, artisans and skilled professionals. There are no cutting corners with MasterCraft. We provide only the highest level of quality craftsmanship to bring your vision to life.
Steps to a successful home build

After working through your vision and custom design, your project manager will share detailed information to prepare the contract and secure financing for your home.

Once funding and permits are in place, we will provide an estimated completion date, order materials and schedule contractors.

We are ready to break ground on your project by preparing the construction site and pouring the foundation. We can build on your lot or, if you do not own land, you can choose from our large selection of acreage in northeast Ohio — from the west side of downtown Cleveland to North Ridgeville and Avon. We build each home specifically for the lot.

Homes built by MasterCraft are well-insulated and low-maintenance. Even our most basic build is far above Energy Star standards. Our expertise in energy-efficient homes extends to net-zero and green residences. Our high standards will keep your home quieter and offer significant energy savings.

- Use products designed to be wet during construction. Your home will be airtight with high-tech materials, so air cannot escape.
- Allow moisture outward only, so the air inside the home does not become stale. Cutting-edge technology will help circulate air in the house.
- Consult with third-party energy testers throughout the home-build process to catch any issues before getting too far into the project.
Some builders skimp on projects by not painting ceilings and using substandard paint on the walls. MasterCraft Custom Homes paints all your ceilings with a smooth or fine texture using only the highest quality paint and trim you can buy. You will not find a more energy-efficient furnace or heating and cooling system than what we install in your home. We also place a thermostat on every floor, including the basement.
